Getting Foot in The Door

Hey Guys,

Having been in all kinds of sales all my life I
have discovered that one of the most important
things is getting your foot in the door.

Once you establish a relationship with a business
owner you an sell them anything ... if they know you,
like you and and trust you

Until then they have their guard up

Would you agree?

Jack

P.S. I'm going somewhere with this. I am testing a really cool way of getting my
foot in the door and I'm gonna share it with you guys. I actually recorded some calls
I made this morning and so far its working like gangbusters

Maybe not anything but you can sell them anything you can show them the value and need of.

Repeat and referrals are always best.

Using Cars Sales as an example. After a few years a good salesman will have little to no need to taking "ups" if he is following a good post sale follow up plan.

There are guys right now on car lots near you pulling 100, 200, even 400k or more a year all from repeats and referrals.

You just have to learn how to take the same principals and customize them for your business.

B2B sales is great for this as there are so many related products and services you can sell.

      Exactly ...

What I actually meant is that they are at least willing
to look at what you have to offer without having their
arms crossed and a skeptical look on their face

I have never understood why so many businesses ignore their best source for growing their business, their current and past customers.
