How much do you charge?

Hey Warriors,

Can anyone help me understand the following:

1. How much do you charge for Google + Local Optimization?
2. What are best practices regarding citations to be associated with said Google + Local page?
#offline marketing #charge
  • Somewhere in the $200 - $500 per month range is probably about right, depending on geographical area and industry. It's going to take a lot more work for a divorce attorney in NYC than a small town restaurant, plumber, whatever, so make sure you're protective of your time when you price deals.

With regard to citations, start with the main directories & social properties, then use a tool like whitespark.ca to discover competitors best citations, then any additional local or niche industry directories you can find. After that, throw in a little SEO linkbuilding.

Make sure the format of citations (business name, address, phone number) is 100% consistent across all properties and you should be good.

    • I usually charge an extra $500-$750 for fixing local business directories and this is pretty low especially if they have a lot of duplicate listings/wrong information.

I would just be very active on Google+ and have my profile filled completely and have the correct NAP down to the periods for every web property like Mike said.
  • I normally package that up with other services, if I was to just handle Google Maps, thinking $500.00 per month.

    • I've seen others charge monthly for this as well. For local business directories and Google Maps, you charge $500 per month? It's usually a one time deal, what is the recurring payment for?

  • I do not use it all completely, but I would charge about $300 in my opinion
  • may I ask what the recurring income is for?
l would really appreciate a response
