webinars for local businesses

Has anyone tried selling high ticket info products ($500-$1000) to brick and mortar professional businesses such as realtors or lawyers on how they can use internet marketing to improve their business and get more leads and sales.

It would go like this: Linkedin PPC ads -> gotowebinar registration page around 5 days before webinar (I need advice on how long before webinar it should be) and then I'll send them a couple of emails reminding them to get on the webinar. and then at the end of the 1 - 1.50 hours I'll sell them the product.

What time and day should the webinar be? And do you think not tech savvy people would actually go on a webinar? And is this an effective way to sell to professionals such as lawyers and dentist?

Webinars definitely work for internet marketers selling to random people who are knowledgeable about internet marketing but what about offline business owners?

thanks very much. What time is best for an online live webinar and how long should I leave it between PPC -> reg page to the webinar starting?

what do you do for what I've asked?

I run them on recorded webinar software at 11am and 5pm PST Daily. Not sure what you mean by "how long should I leave it between PPC"

I sell a Complete Video Training Course for Business Owners and their Marketing Departments.

So your webinar is prerecorded and there are 2 every day?

but won't business owners be at work at 11am and 5pm? also are these american business owners?

sorry I didn't explain it clearly, I am getting leads for the webinar through PPC ads to a webinar registration page and I wanted to know what day and what time it should be after they have opted in to the live online webinar.

Sorry I am just a bit confused and this is a stumbling block for me.

Being an ex business owner myself, those seem to be the best times to schedule a meeting, before lunch or they can stop working early to watch webinar.

    Here are some thoughts.

    1. Depending on the market for that price point your info product should be physical. Business owners in many if not most industries see digital as less value. It will be a bit more cost but you will sell more at a higher value IMO.

    2. Can you do these in person? Like #1 these guys are often boomers and physical has more value. Test both of course to see which works best.

    3. The webinar/seminar needs to have value beyond just being a sales pitch. Chet Holmes goes into similar ideas in "The Ultimate Selling Machine' so you may want to read that book.

Thanks, yes I will check the ultimate selling machine out and I was already thinking of doing physical products from companies such as disk.com but for my first webinar it will be online and will be a physical book though websites such as lulu.com. but I do know DVDs are probably better.

but what time is best for an online live webinar and how long should I leave it between PPC -> reg page to the webinar starting? and will they actual;ly want to join an online webinar?

If you're planning on going with GoToWebinar here is a link for an extra 15 days free. So, instead of the 30-day trial...it's a 45-day trial. This is not an affiliate link!

I am selling $1500 professional services to small businesses via webinar.

You need a decent sales page in the mix somewhere, but only one. Not two. So that means either:
Step 1 - short ad like PPC to
Step 2 - sales pages with webinar link
Step 3 - webinar sign up without much other then the title and maybe a couple bullet points in it
    OR
Step 1 - sales page delivered by mail or email with link to
Step 2 - webinar sign up without much other than thetitle and mayb a couple of bullet points

You don't want to do a big page two or three times.

People say T R are the best days for webinars. I just ran one today (friday) and got my biggest sign up ever and 30% of people following up in some way (not a sale yet). So I wouldn't over look Friday.

I email people back immediately with a recording and underscore an offer if they take action.

And for lead time - I start contacting two to three days before (Tue if the event is Fri) and go right up to the event. I had someone register today 5 minutes after the event started. And I regularly have people register the morning of the event when the event starts at 10 a.m.
