What service are you offering for recurring income? (other than seo)

Since recurring income with a low amount of work required to fulfill it is the goal of most marketers, what are your favorite services like these are you offering?

-SEO is the obvious one but with Google's constant ranking rules changes less people are offering it since it's getting harder to fulfill promises of one page one rankings.

- Site hosting is usually a low time requirement service but the monthly amounts can be low.

-Marketing consulting can bring in 4 figures each month but can be labor intensive to fulfill.

What are some other good services you are offering that give you these 3 things.

1) at least $50 but at prefer $100/month or more
2) low time requirement each month to fulfill
3) able to give real value to client

    Direct mail, almost no work needed once you are getting results for your client.

      Bob, interesting idea. I'm assuming you either have the client physically send the direct mail or your outsource it?

      Another idea is monitoring reputation management. I taught a family member this and although they never really pursued it that much they still have one client who pays $229/month to monitor their reputation. It was almost 100% automatic thanks to a plugin that monitored reviews but then google changed review structure so it no longer works. But it still takes very little time to check on new reviews.

    yes, reputation management is a good recurring model because either they need to improve or maintain (an insurance policy)

    I'm going to give you an honest answer that most people won't give.

    "Anything and Everything"

    How does that work? Some of those things take a lot of work.....

    "Yes they do take work"

    You don't want to do work? Good you just took the first step to building a business vs. a job.

    Most "business owners" build jobs. They work in their business not on it.

    So once you find something of value to sell to customers which like I said can be "Anything and Everything" you need to become a true business owner and hire people to do the work.

    So what is the secret to recurring income with little to no work?

    "Hire people to do the work."

    You will never get rich off your own labor.

    "The rich get rich from the labor of others."

      I agree Aaron,

      However if you are going to do the work yourself, the work can be much less offering recurring income services that don't take a lot of manual labor as opposed to something that is labor intensive and not recurring so you need to sell to get new clients each month

    Pay per click and content marketing are my personal favorites.

    They are both services that have long term value to the client and they are also services that you can show consistant improvements and results with.

    With PPC you can start delivering results instantly, then with content marketing rather than just building links (which is grey hat SEO at best) you can create a long term stable flow of traffic, whilst adding real value to your clients website visitors.

    The other great thing about these two services is, once you have the process down yourself they are both easy to outsource.

    My only true 'residual income' is web hosting. However, even with that there are often things that come up that have to be dealt with (that is just contacting the hosting company though).

    While it is small amounts ($15 - $125/month) if you get a couple of them you can bring in an extra couple hundred a month which is nice.

    I like offering "newsletter" and "information marketing" services to specific markets (like Chiro, dentistry, HVAC, etc).

    I sign my clients up on all my Affiliate links like Aweber, Social Oomph, TweetAdder, Weebly and such....they for those businesses that I train there marketing department, I give them access to my training center for $49.95 per month.

      Good stuff James. Sounds similar to what a business I had once did (sold it). In the most basic form, we had a membership we sold to local business owners and they (or a member of their staff) had access to basic IM training modules.

      The idea was that we got some continuity for the membership... but the big money came from all the upsells to "done for you" services we up-sold in our funnel.
