MLM is weird. Some of it is great ways to make money while some of it seems like way too much work for the money.

Ask yourself are you selling a product (Avon, 31, etc) or are you selling the "opportunity". if all you are selling is an opportunity why did you buy in? And why would they buy in?

Opportunity stuff you would post in the "Jobs" area IMO. But I would never suggestion anyone do an opportunity one. You need to be high up to make money in those as they are IMO legal Ponzi schemes.

Now products you should place in the section that makes sense for them. You want to sell the products and get some of yours buyers to join the opportunity. While not a personal fan of these I know people making good money part or full time doing this. So the model is valid.

Never bothered me. Of course if I told a MLM guy what I made ($70k as an employee) most would be a bit scared to pitch me on how much money I could make.

People who won't talk about how much money they make are either ashamed or afraid they will make you feel bad. I am neither. If you make more than me I want to be inspired by what you make. if you make less than me I want to inspire you. We are all made better by seeing that there is not a glass ceiling except in our own heads.

Make sure you follow Craigslist's rules otherwise you will be flagged.
I recommend the small biz ads for starters. CL is getting more and more tough on MLM opportunities

In my personal life, I was taught that income was personal and never to ask for it.

but as a salesperson, Yeah, I agree... 100%.

I never understood why some managers don't disclose the earnings of their employees.

When it (doesn't) happens, it raises a red flag for me because there are only upsides for management in doing so. .. unless the business model relied on a large measure on free labour(aka the new recruit) or was not doing as well as the targets suggested.

I would just post in the services section. Small Business. Also General Community has worked for me.

i'd personally go for a section advertising the products rather than the opportunity that should always be secondary to the products if any. I would hope there is a solid product behind the mlm opportunity you are involved in ?

MLM, I would gravitate to the job section as well. CL is a fickle beast. Always read the TOS to be certain you're complying with their wishes and you'll be fine. Will take some getting used to...
