This is a way to make $10,000 per week simply generating appointments for the right industry at a moderately high volume of 4 to 5 appointments a day.
First and the most important thing to understand is the industry and how it operates as well as the government subsided loans it receives for business coaching.
In some cases, the government will compensate 50% of the total costs, the customer receives plans and strategies to increase their financial performance.
A typical three month intensive course, mentorship and business development research sells for $30,000.
You negotiate 10% per sale.
That's $3000 each.
Out of 25 appointments you only need your team to convert 4 leads which will make you $12,000
These aren't shitty leads either, the research and data is always very good and they refresh their database every 3 months.
You just have to hope they convert a bit nore than 20% of their leads for that week..
And you make $10,000
If I may put to the breaks on this for the moment, this isn't to say you'll be making $10,000 each week deposited neatly into your bank account, hell no. It would take months and months before you actually get paid for the sales you make, you make money when they do, it's just how it is.
You want a company with at least 15 advisors that are hungry for leads, an average sized multi million business and an existing direct mail/telemarketing campaign to generate appointments.
How many mutli million dollar business do you think there are that don't have a system similar in place? I'd say not many.
Step 1 is to find a business coaching company and research them. Look at how many directors there are, what's their company size? What's their on-line visibility, are there any signs of a compelling inbound channel?
You can negotiate 10% through the use of your online marketing skills, get them good quality leads as well with SEO, optimize the shit of their website, do for them an online marketing plan.. how much would they respect you if you could show them a better way to generate leads? A plan you've pitched to a business development company of all people..
If you know how to sell, you'll also see that these companies don't usually have a very good idea on how to actually convert these leads into appointments. They have a bias towards people that have strong business experience but little telesales skills, which is unusual but not entirely unexpected.
If you've done telemarketing for any length of time you'll smoke the other consultants hands down, most of these guys don't have a script or any real way to structure a sales conversation, the just talk, talk, talk and burn 90% of the leads.
Sales skills are not earned from business experience.
A lot of them struggle converting even the F2F element of the lead, but then that's something else..
The government in some countries subsidies these courses so the customer saves between $5,000 and $10,000 which is paid on the day of settlement in the BDP. It is usually conducted by your country's trade & enterprise group and this sort of government investment into businesses is increasing worldwide.
Your client pays you also per hour and per appointment for a nice amount of cashflow..
$20 to $40 is not uncommon for a lead of this quality.
That adds up to an $500 $1,000 a week just for doing your job..
Then maybe another $500 $700 from your hourly.
So on top of your 10% commissions you'll also earn an extra $1,000 to $1,700 a week. Take home $2,000 or $3,400 a fortnight while you wait for your $3,000 sales to come in.
Did I mention these leads are easy to convert?
3-5% success rate for me in cold calling.
Now I hit 15-25%.
I hit gold when I saw they needed the online marketing side AND their telesales done by someone who knows what they are doing.
I'm sure a lot of you are in the same boat and I'm telling you that this is it.
Use your specialized online marketing skills against these guys that have all the general business knowledge in the world, they still need your services to be competitive and they will AT LEAST make a small concession on how much they pay you once their money is already in the bag..
Look for business devlopment companies that fit the above profile, call them, meet with them, talk about what you can do for them and ask questions, start optimizing their online presence in small areas such as a paid directory listing that needs more traffic, build their trust, do it for free if it only takes you an hour.
Then move into bigger projects and pretty soon you'll become their online marketing channel manager for a multimillion dollar company getting paid on commission.. if that's what you want.
Or simply do it all for them and sell yourself as a consultant, that's what I do.
Then you can employ someone to do it for you and repeat the process for another client.
This works, it's more of thinking about how you can capitalize on the opportunities right in front of you than hunting for the next big thing.. if you understand what I mean.
All the opportunity is in front of you right now to make this happen, you need to look for it though and that means taking action.
