"Giving up on my offline business?..."

Hey,

Every major success that you want to achieve in your consulting business always has hurdles built into the path to success.

Some people call it a learning curve and other's call it the school of the hard knocks.

Regardless of what you call it, it's a fact of running a consulting business.

You just have to accept it.

Those hurdles are what eventually separate the men from the boys and create a barrier to entry to the upper levels of success.

Why is it always this way?

I don't know. You have to ask God.

But, here's what I do know.

If you can overcome that hurdle and press forward at that moment, it's almost as if the windows of heaven open for you.

I've experienced it with my own business.

However, I've never had that break through when I just gave up and moved on to something else.

I had to roll up my sleeves and master the hurdle in front of me.

Sometimes that meant doing something as small as finding a different angle on a offer. Other times it meant firing a entire sales team and starting over.

But, when I look back at those times, my success in overcoming those hurdles was due to more than just "sticking with it."

The real key was that I became laser focused on solving, fixing or finding a solution to that "one-thing" until I had my breakthrough.

For example, all things being equal, if you specialize and spend a large percentage of your time reading and studying about facebook, testing campaigns for various products and services in different niches and masterminding with other facebook experts, who do you think will be able to get better results for a client?

You or the guy who is dabbling in facebook, twitter, direct mail, sales scripts, yellow page advertising and more?

All things being equal, you will have the competitive advantage and should use that to attract a steady stream of clients who want to work with the go-to person.

So, is the same true with your marketing funnel to get consulting gigs?

Yep, it sure is.

Let's say that you spend just 30 days getting one complete funnel setup to target members of the top chamber of commerce in your area.

Now, let's say that you focus on creating one quarter page ad to run in one of the chamber's monthly publication.

And that ad has a url that directs the business owner to one landing page that is setup to go to one automated webinar where you make one offer.

Do you think you would have a better chance of success if you have that complete funnel working to generate high quality leads.

Absolutely!

It may take a couple of tweaks, adjustments and overhauls, but after you crack the formula, you have a winner.

Then, you can ramp up and run that add in all the other chambers, associations and clubs until you're literally swamped with clients.

That's a beautiful thing.

But, that never happens unless you settle down and focus on that "one thing" until you get the results you want.

Now, go close some deals,

Chris
