How much to charge for a logo and to design a brochure?

Hey guys I just started designing graphic work for clients but I really don't know what I should be charging. So, let me ask here.

What do you think is a reasonable price to charge for a logo design for a remodeling business? I think it's just one logo that will be used from everything, from the website to the letterhead, etc.

Also, how much should I charge for a standard brochure design (the kind that folds into 3 sections)

And finally, what price increase should I add on white label printing?

I know there are many different answers but I just want to get an idea.

Between $200 and $600 bucks depending on what options they want. Google logo design and look at the prices (and work) of the top companies selling logos on the internet. Judge your work against there's and price accordingly. Also don't forget to look at how long it will take you to do the design, do the revisions and deliver the job. Don't do work for less than what makes you happy or you will resent it.

Call graphic artists and print shops in your area and get quotes. This will give you a good idea about the prices for your specific area, then charge your client accordingly.

Be sure to ask them how many revisions they allow for free and the cost of revisions over their maximum.

Time and whatnot is important to consider, but don't forget the actual results... if your work is GOOD then you can command a much higher price. Most "graphic artists" produce very average/mediocre quality work. If your work is junk, it doesn't matter what other artists are charging because people aren't going to go with you if they can get better results with someone else for the same price.
