Online insurance calculator? (for website)

Hey fellow warriors,

Quick question I am interested in working on an insurance lead website on my spare time. Currently, I'm an insurance advisor myself so I have a thorough knowledge about the insurance industry. I have my initial design and layout planned out already for my website. The only problem is I can't seem to find an online insurance market/quotation calculator. What this calculator does is, it asks a set of questions and it finds insurance companies with generated premiums.

Anybody who have done this type of website would know how to implement this or where I can get this? I tried searching on google and forums for this type of concern, but no luck. Do I need to hire a coder to create this system from scratch, or can I find this calculator somewhere?

    Sounds like this would be custom made in most cases pulling from a database. So similar to how the program on your laptop works but available online. I am 99% sure this will need to be custom coded but maybe someone else will know of a way.

    If you're running Wordpress this plugin could be a good start:

    WordPress › price-calc « WordPress Plugins

    It asks a variety of questions, then provides a custom quote according to your price configurations. If you're looking for something specific to the insurance industry, I'm not sure it's available on the market. Your best bet would be to hire a coder.
