Yahoo Map Pack/Reviews

If I search for a business, I mostly (like others) use google. I noticed for the first time, that now Yahoo! has a listing similar to google.

I wonder what percentage, use Yahoo! to search for local businesses.....

    Yahoo is about 15% give or take which is similar to Bing which is slightly higher.

    But the key thing to remember is this. The demographics of Bing & Yahoo are older and more well to do than google. Remember this if you run PPC campaigns for clients.

    They can get cheaper clicks and better demographics if they sell items that would appeal to an older upper middle class crowd. Think Buick & Cadillac for example.

      Right, the clicks are cheaper. The traffic is a bit lower, but the conversions can be really good. I use bing at times for PPC and it is a great engine...

    It was fun at Digital Dealer 14 listing to a PPC guy explain this to the car dealers. He went on to explain that the search traffic is similar to the 5 largest states in the Union (aka 30%). Amazing how some people ignore Bing and Yahoo when it comes to PPC.
