Dispute with an outsource contrator?

Has anyone had a dispute with an outsource contractor? I would appreciate the process you went through, the resolution, and the cost to make it right.

    From your post I would assume the dispute revolves around you not providing them with enough info

    This is a touchy subject, raw video footage for a future product launch was given to a contractor to edit and provide separate sound tracks. Subsequently, this material was observed on a few sites making other people money instead of being returned as promised. Only 50% of the money was paid upfront, but the entire project launch was compromized.
