What kind of services are you selling? Who is your target market?

      It isn't the price.

It's the buying process. If you are selling a $5,000 marketing system to a company that has committees, gets 3 bids, has layers of management, maybe it takes a few months to close. Maybe longer.

Selling to an individual? Selling something that can be bought all at one time? There is no limit. In other words, there is no procedure for buying that makes a one call close impossible at any price.

I've never run into that. All my sales are closed in one call. Biggest single sale (meaning paid that day)? $12,000, I think. But that's just because I didn't have a bigger package. Franchises can be sold in one call, and they can be six figures. I've seen $25,000 coaching programs sold at the end of one group presentation. I promise that isn't the limit.

But for you? Less than whatever figure that frightens you.

      Again, it isn't the price.

From my experience the one call close is difficult for a recurring service. You will need to nurture the lead and follow-up until they are comfortable and decide to buy.

I think anything over $100 is tough for a one-call close, and I am not selling anything at that price point and I'm sure you are higher as well.

    Hi there,

One of our clients sells their services (legal support) over the phone in about 50% of their sales. Most of their sales average $4-6k dollars (they're in America). They usually close the sale in one incoming call. The call can take up to 45 minutes but they've closed deals in as little as 4 minutes.

There's really no ceiling when you approach the sale properly.

    All the best,

    Sasha.

I was personally one-call closed for a $10,000 product several years ago. Never heard of them or even thought about their product before.

I got the call and a few hours later they had a $10k contract. Never spoke to them again. They had their money in about a week. I got the product a week after that.

All limits are in your mind.

There's not much to say after that. Very well put indeed.
