Does anyone know of anywhere I can simply buy pre-scraped business listings sorted by industry / city / state, etc.? I have found ContactSpyder, but apparently they can't seem to figure out how to open for business.

Thanks!

If you just want sorting by industry/city/state., I suggest you by a scraper instead of a list. With a good scraper you can generate as many leads as you want, continually.

Ken Michaels has a great scraper --- Mobile Renegade. It is worth every penny, and then some!

If you need to get lists that offer even more demographic information(e.g. age, income, marital status, business revenue, number of employees, etc.) then you may want to look at InfoFree.com. It's affordable. If you're interested in buying lists from them, be sure to search online for coupons before purchasing.

Digichik mentioned mobile renegade, I've heard good things about it and am curious to try it, I may have to purchase it soon. I currently use Power Leads Pro which does the job pretty well when it comes to scraping business info.

I need a few million business records to drop voicemails on specifically... Contact Spyder was attractive because of the sheer volume you can purchase. But scraping it via odesk / India is prob best bet.

By the way, in order to run a spam campaign where folks love you for it, you have to have something to offer of unique value.

        Hi there,

You also have the obstacle of overcoming their "sniff test". If it sounds too good to be true, etc.

I have yet to hear of, see or experience a "spam campaign" where any recipient expressed any "love". Methinks you seek the holy grail. Good luck.

        All the best,

        Sasha.

          Hi Sasha,

I am consulting for a client who was my boss many moons ago. I have positioned myself as an expert in this industry and get paid well because every single marketing strategy I deliver (most have been free) have flat out worked.

100% of my contact with industry calls have been from those who have calle dme. I am able to cull info to determine what is working for whom and how. As it turns out, unsolicited B2B messages yield a four tenths of one percent response rate. I tested myself on a 5,000 message drop and got five tenths (half percent) response rate.

This entire industry / vertical relies heavily on SPAM (voice broad casts, voice mails, e-mails, etc.). This particular client booked about $50M in revenue in 2012 from having spent $3M on SPAM campaigns.

Unfortunately, this industry doesn't have long legs. So there's absolutely no point in brand building, relationship building, and doing all the things one would do to grow a sustainable business. The challenge right now is to acquire the largest book possible, and also create a "data store" as leverage for a sale when this thing goes bye bye.

          I hope this clarifies things.

By the way... I found the Holy Grail. Give without any expectation of anything in return and the pieces will fall where they may. Giving is 100% of my businesses' marketing plan. Giving is why I will never have to make a cold call.
