I am creating a course at the moment, a high ticket one, $500 +.

I have completed the SEO section and i'm not sure if I'm going to add sections for other information.

The course is very indepth has lots of videos and chapters etc

what would you recommend calling it?

I really need to think of quite a good name.

thanks

I will be selling it through a webinar and I need to think of the domain name of the website which shows the webinar because i am going to be using a WP plugin to show the live webinar.

What would you recommend?

I know i'm basically just asking you to name my product but its become the next stumbling block for me to actually sell this product.

Your name presents: SEO Shakedown - giving google the shake down for more traffic.

Just something off the top of my head.

thanks but im looking for something that screams premium but I cant think of anything. SEO shakedown sounds good but i dont think it sounds premium and high ticket.

What product screams premium in your eyees? Brands like rolls Royce built up their premium brand through advertising, same thing with apple. Regardless of the name if you brand it as high class people will see it as high class

ok thanks i will definitely think more about that, thats interesting.

i was thinking because when i see top tier products i always hear the word 'platinum'.

but even though my product isn't coaching i was wondering do you think using that will make it sound premium?

The thing about value is that things only seem valuable when its compared to something else of lesser value.

what makes gold more valuable then silver? Nothing really its all based on what people say its value is.

So if you want your course to sound valuable Without the years of branding, then you need two do two things, compare it to something less valuable and give it a name that implies high value...

            Platinum Seo

Not the most original but you see my point right?

    Hi there,

Position it more as a training session(s), or workshop, or bootcamp. I really think you're going to have a very hard time selling it in one swoop for 500+. There are so many courses out there for 97 that offer tons and tons of content.

You might do better with a subscription model that sells for $97 a month and that allows you to constantly create new monthly modules to include the changes in the industry. It would work out to be far more revenue for you.

    All the best,

    Sasha.

      Sasha,

Can we peel back the layers on this slightly? Yes. It's tough to sell information as anyone who has tried can attest to. But can higher ticket courses be sold? How?

There are plenty of buyers who will be far more attracted to a larger price tag if it means its an investment in their business. The idea / notion of: "this is more expensive so it must be better" is absolutely real.

So if he really wants in his belly to sell this stuff for $500 each, how do we help him do it?

You've made him aware of the difficulties and the competition so his expectations should to not become a millionaire. However, what if he...

Gave away half the course for free, and "cliff hanged" at the right part to allow the buyer to make the THEN emotional decision at that moment to buy the rest of the course?

Think about it. If I get through half a webinar, chances are I am getting value. If he paces and sequences everything well, he can almost run it like a piece of music.

Then bam, he yanks it away and offers an option to "pay me" for the rest...?

People want what we can't have, and folks buy on how they feel. Seems like this might be the right mix / approach?

      Your thoughts???

Assuming you found a name by now, but wanted to share a fun little script I came up with to help with naming WSO products (totally free, just a silly site): www.wsonamegenerator.com.

    Cheers!
