headway theme designer recommendations

Thanks to you guys I have a new web client. I'm doing a website redesign and starting a monthly newsletter. if these work well, I can really see this taking off. the client seems interested in a lot more if I can show his office manager that I can deliver clients.

I'm designing the site with headway theme so I can adjust it myself to maximize conversions and CTAs, but I'm no designer and I'd like to start off on the right foot. does anybody have a recommendation for a designer, or how I should go about finding one who can work with headway?

Probably the best way is to go to the headway forum and request a designer. That's what I did a few years ago

BTW have you actually used headway? It promotes itself as the drag and drop headway theme, like it's really easy to use, but that is a bit of a fallacy

In saying that a lot of people, not just affiliates, love it and produce some great looking sites with a wide range of functionality

    Cheers Don

Thanks for the advice. I have used headway, and built several sites with it, and I can even copy a lot of what I see, but I just don't have a designer's eye, and when I try to make an original design, it always come out pretty crappy.

What I really want is some sort of drag and drop framework that lets you adjust existing themes, so I can make minor tweaks to themes I already like to get just the layout I want. Since that doesn't exist, I just try to muddle through the best I can.

Headway is a great theme for designing custom unique websites and also for copying other theme designs, especially with the new features of the latest edition with full width wrappers.

If you are looking to take existing designs and tweak them though, you either have to learn PHP and CSS to delve into the code or grab a theme like U-design which is sorta in between headway and most other themes. It has a framework that is very similar to multiple other themes but allows you to customize the layout/design in numerous ways.
