I want to help a friend with his offline ventures

Hey guys.

I have a friend who wants to start making money on the side and eventually turn it into a full time business.

He's looking to create a brand for himself either fixing, building computers and/or providing web design/developing services.

I told him basic stuff like find out what your competitors are doing and give yourself an edge and some other basic things I've picked up by reading the forum.

Does anyone recommend a good course for selling web design to business's and the general public covering branding and marketing, lead generation etc?

He has the desire to work but just doesn't have the knowledge, I work primarily online so so can't really help with offline advice.

Just a nod in the right direction from a couple who know their stuff would help greatly, even advice.. but a step by step plan would suit him more.

Jamie.

There are many courses here on the WF. I think it is good that you had brought him to the right place. Different courses are made to help specific people. I'd suggest looking at different offline courses to see what best suits his needs more. I have a couple WSOs that can help him get clients, but they aren't the only thing he needs.

The one thing that matters in the offline world is not what you sell, but how you sell it. This is why 99% of my offline WSOs are not about what to sell, but how you go about prospecting with clients. Tell him to learn about cold calling if he wants,

I'd suggest he try his hand on cold calling. It may work well for him, but it also may not. Emailing works well if a good strategy is followed afterwards. I have sold a couple website redesigns over the past few weeks and also new website development services, but I just outsourced all of the work.

I wish him the best of luck.

Hi, thanks for your suggestion. I have sent you a PM.

If anyone else has any recommendations I would love to hear about them.
I'm not looking for a push button trick but a strategy for my friend.
If anyone knows of any reports, free or paid which cover all the basics

    -Getting Leads
    -Follow up Emails/Phone Calls
    -Closing The Sale
    -Invoicing & Contracts
    -Outsourcing Graphics etc

Send me a message, or reply here. Your recommendations are greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Jamie.
