Looking for creative ways to market an online music lesson site

This isn't really an offline business but I think some of the more creative marketing people are in this subforum so I thought I would post it here.

I'm looking for creative ways to market/drive traffic for online website that sells online music lessons on a subscription basis. I'm looking for ideas that are generic enough that it doesn't matter what the instrument is or if it's voice lessons the ideas could probably still be adapted.

Thanks,

Ron

Ron, since the right audience can be found within Facebook's
data, here's how you can best extract it to run campaigns...

Love what the guys at letsfeast.com are doing, selling cookery lessons online. They created a series of email tips delivered over a number of days.
The home page acts as a landing page with the focus on signing up for the daily tips.
Bite sized mini music lessons could be one way. Give them a taster first. Pick a couple of the most popular instruments with a series of daily snippets.

You can syphon off the competitors Facebook fans.

And go after those which have the perfect prospects.

Within Facebook's Power Editor there is a section on Interests.

There you put in the name of the competitors and go with their fans.

Boom you've got ads showing up to your target audience only.

        Ewen

Attention = strong headline stressing benefits to target market = How to play ___ in just 7 days. Interest = testimonials, showcase the benefits of the product, give them the first lesson free. Desire = take action now, want to take the rest of the course = sign up for newsletter. Action = buy now = give them an offer they can't refuse. For marketing I would first heavily research the target market and where they hang out. Start visiting those forums, signing up to social accounts, getting news feeds. Then building your reputation on those sites. Create the authority youtube account with sample teaser videos, press distribution, etc, etc
