I wonder how much of a market there is for this sort of thing. Realtors are cheap, but this is a whole lot of bang for your $30/mo. It wouldn't really take all that much in the way of $$$ to put something like this together, and if it was received well you could scale it up like mad. Hmmmm....

    That is one helluva service for $30. Culling all the local market info and making it into a coherent message is worth a whole lot more than that.

      You have to keep in mind that it's a template-based system. Everything is automated. The system inputs geo-specific data that is pulled from the local and/or regional MLS and the realtor (we called them "relitters" in a past life) inputs their personal info. At that price point it needs to be scaled, obviously, but I can see a massive upside.

      $30 is cheap, for sure. But it becomes a no-brainer at that price point, and for the most part servicing 1000 clients is no more work than servicing 5. There's more to it, of course, but that's my first take.

      My thoughts exactly. If I don't make at least a few hundred profit on every order it's not worth my time & I think you should value yours too bro Maybe if it was something 100% automated where you spend some time initally but it runs for the most part on autopilot - that's the only way I see it being worth while. But any kind of real time commitment over 30 minutes you should be charging much more for.

    Yeah, I get that...it's still worth more than $30 for them to do it rather than me ;-)

    At that price they can't really afford much of an affiliate program, I'm thinking...it would be interesting to find out how long a customer stays with them.

      I'm not thinking affiliate, as much as I am reseller. They'll need to OK it of course, but I can't see them having a problem with it so long as it is reasonably easy to white label the whole deal. You know as well as I do what something like this could sell for.

    It's kind of cool but does anyone have a link to a live version?

    Personally it seems a little silly but for $30 why not, right?

    Now true personalized monthly videos could be great for a realtor. They would have the stats. Build a script and put them in front of the camera. Could be worth good money to the right realtors.

    I'd like to know how it goes with the re-seller idea..I'd be real interested here too. I'm not sure the $30 would cover the cost of managing a newsletter list, so it would definitely needs to be a higher price point.

    Think home improvement, renovations, roofers etc. They all need a platform to build a solid and social customer base!
