Selling Airplane Parts?

This just fell in my lap this morning.

Four MD-80 commercial airplanes...The kind that haul 160 people or so.

They are currently being stripped for parts. The demolition guy wants me to help him sell the parts online.

English isn't his first language & he knows squat about online marketing.

Am headed to the airport tomorrow with video camera in hand & plan to put several videos up on YouTube.

Anybody ever sold $100 million dollars worth of airplanes before?

Probably a ludicrous question, but if anybody knows any aircraft forums where I can advertise, I'd appreciate it!

      Got to give you credit for being straight-up mate!

      Will PM you when I have further details. I have my camera battery all warmed up & will be taking lots of pictures/videos in a few hours.

      I'll need to formalize a few things, but would be happy to split it with you 50/50 if you can move the parts!

      The plot thickens. I went there today.

      It's not four, but eight each MD-80's......

      2 Each Boeing 747's.......

      Three Y811's (prop jobs)

      Two L10-11's (prop jobs).

      Am bringing in a friend that happens to be a Lear jet mechanic in on this next week.

      He's also in Bangkok, as am I. We'll figure something out.

    To be honest....I am married to a wonderful Thai Lady......12 years now she has put up with me. I love her to death. 8 year old daughter.......Spoiled cutey-pie that can break Daddy's heart & will in about 10-11 years.

    I DO enjoy people-watching in BKK though....Beautiful people....especially the ladies.
