She makes $2 per Pizza

One of my "TV Channel Guide" students called me and reported that she had "reached her Goal" today.

Rather than mention what her monetary Goal was (and get the "usual reaction" of...."dat's impossible!....yer lyin....never in a millyun yrs....or, Prove It! I'm just gonna say, I am VERY HAPPY that one of my "Students" has reached her goal with my "TV Channel Guides" program.

Background;
A few yrs ago I was sitting in the lobby of a local Hotel, waiting for a friend. It was around 5pm and Travelers/Tourists were coming in and registering. When each person finished registering and were handed their room key, I noticed that each one asked...."...any suggestions on where to eat?"

My "Idea antennae went up". I thought, what if there was a way to "guide" these Travelers/Tourists to local restaurants and especially .....where to have a Pizza delivered to their room.

These people were tired and Hungry so....if there was a way to show them who they could phone to have a Pizza DELIVERED to their room....I'd bet that it would not be very difficult to get a local pizzeria to want an AD that would be seen by Room Guests.

So.....I asked one of the clerks, "What's the most common question that your guests call for?" She replied that they call about the TV Channels. The TV System is different here than where they came from.

The clerk then told me they print out a TV Channel Guide and put them in every room BUT...they get lost or mixed up with other stuff in the room.

So....I thought, "What if I made up a TV Channel Guide that also had a picture of a mouth-watering Pizza on the front along with a Phone Number to call to have it delivered to their room.

Well....when I showed this to the Manager of my first hotel.....she went Ga-Ga.....especially when I told her I'd provide these at NO charge.

So....after getting her approval, I went to a local Pizzeria who wanted ON. I also went to some local restaurants that also wanted ON.

Thus.....a business was started and....because of the new technology I changed the program so that rather than just printing the phone number of the Pizza Sponsor I found a way to ....GET PAID ON EVERY CALL to the Pizza Co!

I found a Co called "Call Fire" that would give me a phone number that I control. I could re-direct the calls to ANY pizza co I wanted....and, I could use a "whisper effect" where, before the call was completed from the caller....a message was played when the call was picked up at the receiving end.

The message says; "Here's another order from Advantage Marketing!" (My busness name).....then the caller was connected.

And....each of these calls are registered so I know, at any time, how many calls were made.

Now.....if I were to charge $2 per call.....coming from Hungry Hotel Guests to order a pizza to their room.....would a pizza co owner be willing to pay this?

You Betcher Sweet Bippy. They'd just add the $2 to their "delivery" fee.

So....take a look at the Photo of our TV Channel Guide below. These are Free-Standing and placed in EVERY ROOM....next to the TV. The Phone Number is provided by CallFire and is re-directed to the Pizzeria who pays for each call.

If the pizzeria wants to quit....I just have the number re-directed to another Pizzeria. I'm sorry folks BUT....I get EXCITED about this technology.

CallFire charges me $1 a mo per number and 5c a minute for a 2 minute call (on average)....and my program gets an average of X pizzas a day per 100 rooms.
