How to track offline affiliates sales?

Hi,

anyone already solved this problem?

For example :

A clothing store wants to sell t-shirts, jeans and other things with the help of affiliates.

Affiliates are people who promote that store and a discount with a coupon ticket.

Problem 1 : how to track affiliates sales?
Problem 2 : how to prevent a bad behavior of the owner that don't register a sale as affiliate sale?

      If there's coupon involved then you can do it the same way hostgator do it..

      At hostgator other then affiliate links there's a way to create a specific coupon for every affiliate so that when a user enter the coupon code hostgator know which of their affiliate sends the sale.

    For example :

    A = clothing store owner
    B = affiliate
    C = customer

    ---> A gives to B a coupon ticket with an affiliate code (each affiliate has a different code)
    ---> B gives to C the ticket with a discount
    ---> C goes to A and buys a shirt
    ---> A records the new sale with the affiliate code

    You mean this? But... how to be sure that clothing store owner record the sale for the affiliate?
