Anyone else having issues with these ermmm well these ermm .....................Paypal people?

Got an email a month ago saying docs I sent them had come through blurry, can I resend etc etc, I trashed it as I hadn't sent them anything, now they are accusing me of running a business (errr yes) and they need a load of docs to comply to some EU regulation , this is all under the same ref no as last months request, stinks to me, have put it on their FB page as they don't seem to want to respond to their own email addresses or webform submissions other than bog standard pre typed BS.

So anyone having issues with them as I'd hate to take it personally

I'm thinking it's spam trying to get your account info. I've had paypal for 6 years, never had a request like that. Sign into your account by going to the ACTUAL SITE, not a link from an email, then get the number to customer service and call them yourself and ask.

I also got a "there's a problem with your paypal account" message recently.

Problem was, I don't have a paypal account for that email, and only used it once to pay for something without logging in. It looked pretty legit and the email address it was from seemed OK, too. But it doesn't make sense overall so I trashed it.

MJBMedia,

The spammers/scammers will try to get you anyway they can. Your best bet is to call Paypal (make sure you get the number from the actual site and not your e-mail), and tell them you are suspicious of some e-mails you have received.

right it was all genuine, ended up having to ring them but found a normal cost phone number to do so with as here in UK they try to get you to use the premium rates, and its all genuine so done what they asked , cheers guys
