What is the highest converting product I can sell?

Hey guys, I recently signed with a salesperson for a new product (commission only), and it didn't work out too well. My salesperson got shot down a lot and didn't sell a thing. (I know because I saw the call log and listened to the recordings - she was very persistent)

I know she's good because she has an amazing record and has been one of the top salespeople for her last job, but I guess that the service I had her selling was just too expensive and not many people saw the benefit since it's a new idea. However, I would like to keep her on - and she wants to stay on as well on commission but she wants to try to sell something else.

So, what product do you guys think she should sell as far as good commission and high conversion rates? I was thinking maybe websites? I know selling websites might be easy for her, but is there anything easier for her to sell and that would bring in bigger money through cold calling?

I think I have more questions than answers for you but what you could do is PM one of the cold call guys on the forum and see if they would be willing to invest some time discussing this with you. Like Jason Kanigan.

Whatever she was selling at her last job.

The reason she's not doing well now is because she's still selling in the same way she was selling at the old job but whatever it is you have her selling has to be sold differently. Maybe because it's a more expensive item/service or whatever, but it can't be sold in the same way she was doing it.

It's most likely not the product. It's the method she was using to sell it. Being persistent is not necessarily a good thing if you are being persistent about the wrong thing. Perhaps there should be a goal other than closing the sale during these cold calls.....
