Looking to hire a telemarketer in the Philippines (full-time)

Hello ladies and gents,

I am looking to hire a telemarketer based in the Philippines due to the incentives you get.

I've worked with an international team, so I "kinda" know the drill, however I never worked with a Philippino/na.

If anyone can recommend a place to find such individuals please let me know.

I prefer one-man-show as opposed to a company.

Suggestions are welcome.

Thanks,
J

  • Freelancer dot com is where my son was able to hire a coder in the Philippines . A couple of other sites are Fiverr and Microworkers.

    Check them out.
  • I have used that website before to hire coders, never thought they would have telemarketers! I will give it a shot!

    Thanks
  • How about these guys?
Most of them are from the Philippines but you can contact the site and ask for more staff to look into if you need more to review. Or if you want, you can directly post the job details by signing up so they can start looking for a telemarketer in the Philippines.
  • Odesk has some really good appointment setters. Make sure to have them send you an audio resume so you can hear what they sound like.

Many I've dealt with have had little to no accent at all.
  • Be conscious of the time difference...

I would hire someone and train them oppose to hire someone with experience and pay more..

    Some of the perks are,
    they do things your way
It will cost less a hour to hire them.

Make sure that they are fluent with your language that you speak especially vocabulary.
One must is make sure that they are avalable threw skype and come to a agreement of the times you need to speak to them and make a schedule together...

That's about all I can think of for now..
    Best of luck ...
  • Why do people always seem to want to outsource to other countries. There are people in the US (or whatever your home country is), especially stay at home moms or the unemployed that may be willing to do the work for the same money! There should not be any legal issues with this. A lot of the call center work from virtual call center companies and on Odesk pay well below minimum wage. Since they are independent contractors I don't think it matters. Not to take anything away from people overseas, but I know there are people who would appreciate the work in the home country and then you don't need to be concerned about the accents.

    • Show me a stay at home mom who will work forty hour weeks for $87.50 a week here... and appreciate it. Pay a Phillipino $375-$400 a week and they LOVE their job and bend over backwards to keep it.

Anyway, try Craig's List Davao or Manila, I've had luck with both.

  • Taskarmy.com has a ton of different Filipinos. Just type in virtual assistant, and you will find a few telemarketers, I think. However, you can always message them and talk to them to get a feel for what they can do for you!

Filipinos are very hardworking and are very skilled with the English language! Best of luck on using Taskarmy.
  • Before any hiring make sure you do a thoughral interview process, you can even perform a role-play. A popular example of this is being asked to role-play an escalated call with an unhappy customer.

    Good Luck!
  • Thank you for all the help guys!

I am finalizing 3 applicants on oDesk and will hire all 3 as a trial for one week.

He/she performs the best gets to keep the job!
