Freelancer dot com is where my son was able to hire a coder in the Philippines . A couple of other sites are Fiverr and Microworkers.

Most of them are from the Philippines but you can contact the site and ask for more staff to look into if you need more to review. Or if you want, you can directly post the job details by signing up so they can start looking for a telemarketer in the Philippines.

Odesk has some really good appointment setters. Make sure to have them send you an audio resume so you can hear what they sound like.

Many I've dealt with have had little to no accent at all.

Be conscious of the time difference...

I would hire someone and train them oppose to hire someone with experience and pay more..

Make sure that they are fluent with your language that you speak especially vocabulary.

Why do people always seem to want to outsource to other countries. There are people in the US (or whatever your home country is), especially stay at home moms or the unemployed that may be willing to do the work for the same money! There should not be any legal issues with this. A lot of the call center work from virtual call center companies and on Odesk pay well below minimum wage. Since they are independent contractors I don't think it matters. Not to take anything away from people overseas, but I know there are people who would appreciate the work in the home country and then you don't need to be concerned about the accents.

Taskarmy.com has a ton of different Filipinos. Just type in virtual assistant, and you will find a few telemarketers, I think. However, you can always message them and talk to them to get a feel for what they can do for you!

Filipinos are very hardworking and are very skilled with the English language! Best of luck on using Taskarmy.

Before any hiring make sure you do a thoughral interview process, you can even perform a role-play. A popular example of this is being asked to role-play an escalated call with an unhappy customer.
