Where can I buy lists

Hello

This is my first post on this forum so bear with me and I'm hoping I'm in the right section to post this question.

I have an Idea I'd like to market to plumbers (uk based). Can any one suggest a good place to purchase a marketing list? It would need to be uk plumbers. I wish to use it to contact plumbers to gauge interest.

    These kind of marketing lists are not a great way to start your business. They have been used over so many times, and the effect will be minimal. I would start small and would do the work manually on a selected region. (so you can test it out)

    to piggy back on maark, its best to build your own list manually. but that doesn't mean you cant use a rented list to build up your own personal list.

    for example, instead of starting out by mailing 2000 names on a rented list, start with something smaller, like 500. take the positive names and keep discard the non responsive one. rinse and repeat. until you have a list of repeat costumers.

    of course that doesn't mean you need to completely get rid of the non responsive names, because they me respond to a different message, or technique
