The "Secret" to "Selling Your Stuff!

Hey! You have a Limited Product or Limited area to Sell a Service;

You don't want to visit potential customers by "Walking In Cold?".... you don't want to mail letters or postcards!

You especially do NOT want to "PHONE" people.....trying to find SOMEONE INTERESTED IN WHAT YOU HAVE! And, you don't want to EMAIL a few Hundred...or a few Thousand prospects with the HOPE 1 or 2 will respond.

So....WHAT DO YOU DO?

Well.....I'd like to SHARE a "Sales Technique"......that has worked for me and, if you THINK ABOUT IT.....COULD WORK FOR YOU!

Here's what it is;

Let's say you have a product or service you'd like to sell.

Let's say you have collected a whole bunch of emails in the "Niche" you think will BUY YOUR THINGEE!

So....knowing ALL of the above......HERE'S WHAT YOU DO!

THE "KEY" TO THE WHOLE BALLGAME IS.....GETTING PEOPLE TO OPEN YOUR EMAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You need a GRABBER subject line to even get potential buyers to OPEN your email! WHY? You don't have a chance to sell anything if potential buyers do NOT .....see your Sales Message!

OK....Don, YOU are so cool.....HOW can I get potential clients/customers to OPEN....the Emails I send them?

Well....I'm NOT going to charge you a penny for what I'm about to Reveal (from EXPERIENCE and DOING).....BUT.....if you think the following has value to you.....give me a "Thank-You"!

OK.....here comes the KEY WORDS that WILL get potential clients/customers to OPEN....your emails! (And...don't forget you got this info from Don Alm (aka Midasman09)

Here's the Words that WILL get People to OPEN your emails;

"SORRY.....you're about to lose your spot!"

Now......you MUST continue on with the "Losing" thing. People do NOT want to "lose-out" on anything! So ..you've got to now mention a word that STRIKES FEAR into the heart of people seeing this;

The word is "COMPETITOR"!

So...here's how I bring that "fear" to life....with the following Copy in my email;

"One of your competitors has just Ordered my program and wants to be THE rep in your area. I remember I "asked you first"....but, I' haven't heard from you....so, I will hold this Spot in YOUR Name...until 5pm this eve!.

If I don't hear from you before that time.....I will give it to your competitor!"

Thanks for you interest,
Don Alm

Now.....I WILL get calls asking "Hey! What's this about?"

So....I will email the details of the email I was....going to send them in the beginning and...guess what? My prospect is NOW.....VERY INTERESTED IN READING MY EMAIL!

Thus.....anyone reading this might think this is somewhat "Gray-Hat" or "under=handed".....so WHAT! Nowadays.....with our own Gummit doing it's best to force us all into "submission" to THEM.....it's come down to "everyman for himself and.....if YOU are one who has been told you must now work 28 hrs a week because of OBAMA-CARE.....it's coming down to....IT'S UP TO LITTLE OL' YOU.....TO FIND A WAY TO TAKE CARE OF YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!

And.....I'm sorry our country has been "taken over" but.....ya wanna EAT or Not!

Don Alm.....eater.....even if I have to go Canada

    Yeah I simply hit the delete button with subject lines like that. I know very well that I'm not about to lose my spot in anything, because I know I haven't signed up or otherwise gotten involved with anything where I have a spot to lose.

    It doesn't fool me, doesn't impress me, and nothing screams SPAM more than subject lines that so obviously have nothing to do with me.

      This: "Are you guys still open???"

      Is the subject line that got me the highest open rate.

      It has the feel of an exasperated customer with the three "???"

      I have to agree with you there.

      I delete all the emails I get like that too.

      Not saying that the email wouldn't work to some
      extent.

      I wonder what the response rate is like with an
      email like that and what kind of clients you're
      going to pick up if you actually get hired.

      There are a pile of ways to get business owners
      to respond to your emails.

      Part of it is understanding that before you sell
      most things you need some kind of relationship
      of trust (in other words business owners buy
      from people they trust).

      So emails that help build trust and compel your
      prospect to respond are far more likely to bring
      you in paying clients.

      Personally when I send an email I like getting
      75% or more of the people I send it to emailing
      me back.

      That takes a little more personalization and
      a little bit of thought.

      If you really, desperately want to get someone
      to respond to your emails you can get most of
      them to do that with a little thought about who
      they are and what will make them feel important.

      Kindest regards,
      Andrew Cavanagh

      You're a marketer though so not his target audience I'd assume. What turns us off works for the average person.

    Here's the Words that WILL come from your auto responder service;

    Your account has been closed due to deceptive subject lines in your emails.

      Excuse me.....I neglected to mention the Niche Market I am sending these emails to;

      My "Niche" is....."SMALL business owners"!.....mostly "Service" biz owners like, "Plumbers, Roofers, HVAC, Remodeling Contractors and House Painters.

      Biz owners who are vying for JOBS from area home owners.
