Use This Strategy and Start Collecting All The Change
Have you ever heard of and used the "toll-booth strategy" in your business?
Whether you realized it or not, a lot of people have already used it on you. What's the toll booth strategy?
Let me give you 2 quick examples.
I bought a new cell phone the other day and as soon as I opened the apps inside, there was zappos shoes, local deals and etc...
I have never used these sites, it's a brand new phone, but yet there in my phone.
Why?
How about this example...
You go to amazon and buy one of the newer smart televisions.
It doesn't matter what brand...it could be a sony, panasonic, or any other brand. You order the tv and it arrives a week later at your house.
You plug it in and what do you see right away?
Amazon is one of the automatic apps or channels already installed in your tv. You just opened the box, pulled out the tv and plugged it in. You didn't add amazon, but it's there.
Why and How?
Amazon, Google and others have been using the toll booth strategy.
With the Amazon example...Amazon acts as the toll booth.
If these tv companies want access to their customers through amazon, they have to pay the toll.
Not only money, but they have to install an amazon app in all their tv's before even allowed to cross the bridge into amazon land.
With the cell phone example I gave you...
Google Android uses another version of the toll booth. If zappos and other companies want access to google android customers, they have to pay a toll to google to be there.
This "toll booth strategy" can be very very profitable if done right.
Here's my question to you...
What can you do in your business starting today to use and take advantage of this strategy. If you think hard, I bet you can come up with at least 2 or 3 ideas.
At the very least, come up with one and put into action right away. Then see how fast your "business toll booth" can be collecting all that change.
