Local Dentists Directory

Has anyone worked/developed a local dentist directory?

I have purchased three very good geo domains and each city/town has over 100 dentists and would like to build a simple dentist directory.

Would really appreciate your input if you have worked on similar projects.

Thanks,
Behar

Use the search option and you"ll find some good tips about this, already discussed here on warrior forum.

I'm not in this niche but I view here some useful points.

    Good luck with you project.

      Check out CARE CREDIT!!

The best - free, easy, and expansive directory of dentists out there! Add all of them to the directory - call each dentist and politely ask if they'd like to stay in the directory.

Clearly - your directory should be ranking above the fold in Google before you do so...

These businesses are more inclined to respond to an offer to be removed from something that can be profitable, than they will be to be added to something that can be profitable.

Wonderfully said. The fear of loss is and can be a very real motivator.

This point alone seems like a worthwhile component to use on a call.

Thanks on all the info. I keep reading how it's difficult to get dentists to advertise and hope that I can get a few clients once I rank the site.

I'm also investing a lot of them when it comes to the site design and hope that will help also. To me the design is more important than to automate the addition of new clients etc.

    thanks everyone for your help.

@Santhoshseo - can you send me a pm with your email. I rather email you cause I'm not often on skype but would love to talk to you about this.

@mjbmedia - i would like to sell advertising to dentists. i was thinking about featured dentists, banner advertising and maybe even video, review, interviews.

@marketkidz - i'm not worried about the technology part, i was more interested in hearing if people have done/worked on similar things with dentists and what their stories are.

    thanks,

        Hi there,

        Interesting comment, can you elaborate?
How would you track the leads generated via the website?

        Thanks!

I had a client a few years back who created both a cosmetic surgeon directory... and also a dentist directory...

Cosmetic Dentists - Teeth Whitening, Dental Implants, Lumineers, Invisalign

I worked on his cosmetic surgery site and marketing... but not the dental one. But I do know he sold the cosmetic surgeon directory for millions of dollars... so don't let anyone tell you that directories don't work. He's a millionaire from just one of them now.

yes but did he focus on getting clients for himself (directory listings/ads etc) or on winning clients for his clients (making the directory work and lead gen /conversion etc) , the latter is why he was a success, too many people focus on the former (wrongly IMO)

Bingo Mike, you hit the nail on the head.

For both practices... he targeted high end surgeons and dentists... and then showed them plenty of proof how he and his directory could help them get MORE business and clients for themselves.

You couldn't have said it better... he helped 7-figure surgeons get more clients so they became 8 and 9 figure surgeons... which is what boosted his worth and his directory's worth... allowing him to sell it for millions.

Other than site features and user-friendliness, your site design play a vital role in attracting clients. But what clients would really be interested in, is to know how your directory can make a difference for their business.

          Makes sense; right!

          Good luck,

First, use google and search for their details,address... then use google places to drive traffic for your directories, this is the easiest and safest way.
