Converting LinkedIn connections into clients

I have a decent number of LinkedIn connections in my target market and when they connect with me I send them a message thanking them for connecting with me and offering them something for nothing, either a free mobile site, website audit or report on their rankings on Google. This has had some success and I have converted a few of these connections to clients.

However, I would obviously like to convert more. I thought where better to brainstorm on creative ideas than here? I want to be creative about it and stand out from the crowd and get more of these connections on board as clients. What are some ideas that you fine folks have for turning LinkedIn connections into clients?

Thanks!

Scott.

    Hello SGTech..
I am currently working on a nice tool that I think will help you. PM about it, I call it "Linkedin Marketer PRO".

In the other hand, you could probably do an automate report generator from many sources and integrate into one PDF report automatically. If you need help with that I can custom code anything for Windows and PHP, MySQL, etc.

    Another thing.
You should start doing authorship on Groups and Questions&Answers.
Show people you know what you do. They will trust you and start asking more frequently and trying to do connection.
Share your linkedin email, people will add you to their networks.
About the software I told you:

I have heard that if you join groups that have your ideal customer in and make some posts and help some people then they begin to think of you as an expert. Then when you send them mail they can easily see that you know what you are talking about. You could also invite them to a google hangout and deliver a presentation and this way they can get to know like and trust you. People like to connect and skype and Google hangouts are perfect for this
      Hope that helps

If you mean LinkedIn Answers, that feature has been retired.
