My craigslist campaign is bombing. Any ideas?

Hey guys,

I've recently started this free website where the client only has to pay certain amount per month for hosting and maintenance.

I've been promoting this service through Craigslist.

I pay about $1 per ad and I've had about 10 ads posted so far in high traffic US cities.

I post them in the computer sub-section if the services section.

I do get replies, but they are either spam, or the person replies asking for computer repair service and so on. No one has actually asks about my service, and I'm starting to doubt if they even read my ads properly.

Why do you think this is happening? Am I doing something wrong?

Any help would be appreciated.

First of all, what does your ad look like? Can you post a link on here or PM me? I do specialize in Craigslist for the Northwest and do not post out of state unfortunately. Let me know if you need any help and I would gladly lend my services.

Posting time, right category, right information post are few options to consider when you post there !

Ya, I took your guys advice. I changed my posting section and time, and though I am still getting a lot of spams, there are some genuine responses among them too. Thanks guys.
