One shoot one kill...

Hello warriors,

Well its a not a kill yet, but its definitely a hit !

This morning I sent 1( one) email to 1 (one) local business offering web redesign...half an hour later I had the business owner calling me on my mobile phone asking me if I can meet him to discuss my offer.!! wow

Just about 3 months ago I ran this email campaign offering webdesign to local business and the result was poor, I had something like 0.01% respond and 0 sale.!! :-o

This might have been luck But I don't think so and here is why:

1. The business I picked was medium size ( not a papa & mama ones)

2. the email was sent to the manager director - the owner ( got his email from the website)

3. the email was short, simple natural and sounds REAL ( not too much of that selling stuffs)

4. the website needs redesign

The prospect is going for a two weeks vacation and he wants me to get in touch to book a meeting afterwards, He was also interested in doing some SEO...

so wish me luck...

Thats great news! Sounds pretty much hook, line and sinker!

Care to share your you sent for others here in the same boat?

Email marketing is tough these days, well for me any ways, thats why I moved to direct mail and cold calling.

Good you now have a prospect, but get false expectations.

    It was luck.

Don't get me wrong you took action and if you hadn't you would have the opportunity to turn this prospect into a client. However you could send out 100 more emails and have no response.

So please don't start a new WSO about a fantastic new prospecting method that has a 100% success rate sending out emails until you send out a few hundred more and see what the results are
