You probably remember the old show Knight Rider, right?

You know...

The 80's show where the car drives itself and Michael Knight calls for KITT with his watch whenever he's in trouble.

How about those cool Bond movies where James Bond signals to headquarters with his watch? Or...

Have you seen the old show Get Smart or even Dick Tracy?

And the list go's on.

You probably seen a lot of other movies or tv shows where the super agents all use their watches to make calls. That would be amazing right?

If you've seen the shows, you might of even imagined being "cool" and having that watch.

Maybe felt like you'd be some kind of secret agent with one on your wrist.

Why in the world am I talking about these shows that use futuristic watches to call people?

Simply Because...

I'm talking about something you can use in your business.

Something a company is using to grab emotions, get some people really excited and have them really itching for their products. You See...

Samsung has unleashed their futuristic cell phone watches. Now you can be like those characters and save the world.

Well maybe with the new phone watch you wont save the world, but you might feel like a super agent and pretty cool using one.

Samsung is doing a nice job of grabbing the nostalgia emotion. If not sure what nostalgia is...it describes a sentimentality for the past, typically for a period or place with happy personal associations.

That's what that phone company is using and banking on. Grabbing the emotions of all the fans of the shows where the cool characters used the watch phones.

If you've seen the commercials they're running, they do a great job of it. They show clip after clip of the characters in movies and shows, using their watch phones.

They want to pull the nostalgia out and get people to act.

How can you use this in your business?

A lot of ways, but...

The easiest way to do this is to look at what they're doing and inject it in your business.

They took their product and made it about something. It's more than a watch. It's more than a stylish accessory. It's more than a phone.

You might have a product or service that was used by super spies, but if you look at your product or service today and look at it from a fresh perspective, you could be sitting on something more.

Something your customers will jump at not only for the value, but for the emotions your product gives them.
