An Untapped Source For Getting Clients

In a previous thread on how to get SEO clients,
I talked about the 3 principles of marketing...

1 Who
2 Where
3 What

The who is what we know about our ideal client

The where is where to best find them

The what is what we say to them

Here's an untapped source of where to find leads and buyers,
brought to you by Perry Marshall...

List1

Go check it out.

Best,
Ewen

Isnt it funny though when you talk (or I talk) to business owners and ask them these simple questions as I do, certainly the ideal clients, they don't know, don't have a clue, well we sell to anyone who .............. eh yes and that's the problem

I just wrote a script for calling pizza stores.

It says I've got a list of single adults within
5 miles of your store who are most likely to buy pizza.

Now who do you think holds the power in that conversation?

I dug deep and found I can mail to single adults who live in apartments
within 5 miles from the pizza joint...and exclude everyone else.

The whole dynamics change when you can reach
a target list of high probability buyers.

And it all comes from asking the question...

      "where can I find them"

The "them" is your/clients ideal customers/clients.

      Ewen

Re: Advertising pizza to a "Captive" audience.

Ads in a local Community College newspaper offering a Special Discount if a QR Code was scanned.....pulled a HUGE response for a Pizzeria.

And the List collected, kept the owner paying for the next year.

If you're smart you don't even have to pay.

Find a business networking group or any business that
has the kind of clients you're looking for on an email
list they mail to regularly, build a relationship
with them and they'll happily recommend you to their
    list.

Or if they're not emailing their list you might have to
    use snail mail.

Of course an ad in an ezine is a much simpler way
to get to your target market.

    Kindest regards,
    Andrew Cavanagh

you still have to join the networking group and attend the meetings, and that costs money and time.

re relationship with businesses, yes I agree but it is tough to get them to open their client bases up to you, even when offering a cut and delivering the services to them first , some are very protective of their own clients, like they're so valuable, and yet when I delve into their business a bit more, they're not even monetising them at more than 20% capability, so hey they're not that valuable, but they should be .
