Dan Kennedy called this in one of his No BS books about 10 years ago.

Ever since then, my goal has been to run some sort of business where I can fly largely solo and outsource portions of my business to freelancers and part-timers.

Beyond maybe a few employed assistants, and 1099 mentorship partners (of which I don't truly pay anyway; I get a cut of their commission, payable by the insurance carrier), I have no goals to take on the Federal, insurance, and cost liability of running a company in a fiercely competitive, global economy.

However, I admire the people that can tolerate the level of bullsh*t and bureaucracy on full display at all large companies.

      .
The one man band, with a little help from his wife and daughter, who has been doing it since the 1950s is Harvey Brody, who has a "Toll Position" on products. In the Copywriter's Forum I posted about the "licensing business".

You'll find many millionaires in this group, who simply have control of a product and allow others to do all the work.

If you are looking for (in my OPINION) the very best solo run biz with some of the highest profit potential (outside of Talent) then consider researching the licensing business and even Dan Kennedy has a book about it.

Then there is the "kid" who developed an APP and is reportedly being paid millions for his creation.

If you know life insurance, you are probably familiar with the Million Dollar Round Table, a group of top life insurance sales agents who have sold more than a million dollars in life insurance policies. It's not very hard to earn a rich lifestyle with the insurance profession.

I worked at a life insurance before doing online work, something you do during college summer breaks. I did all the desk work, but one thing I noticed about one of the top life insurance in the state. The turn around is crazy! There more salesman and woman not making it than their is making it.

Also, as children become more active in their parents lives. We saw a decline in the "door to door" sales man.

Just my take, but good luck!

Helping businesses with their marketing is about as
good as it gets for a one person business.

You can charge consulting fees, ongoing fees, take
a percentage of profits, a percentage of the business.

And you can joint venture with partners who do most
of the physical work so that your work is mainly building
relationships with business owners and looking at their
overall strategy to help it work more effectively.

It really is a great business model and the potential for
    income is incredibly high.

Best of all you can build the business and lifestyle you
    want.

    Kindest regards,
    Andrew Cavanagh

Everyone is doing offline marketing but strategy has been changed in last 3 to 4 years. Now people go for online as well as offline marketing. New generation as well as old generation likes technology and that's why they used it. So as per my knowledge if you want to grow your business you need to do online as well as offline marketing. As well as spread your business our globe, then only you will get rich and powerful as well as successful.

Almost all of them (317) run finance and insurance firms.
but does not precise what kind of activity in finance/insurance.

Real estate selling high end properties to the rich
Private jet sales, yachts, to the rich etc.

it can (is) done in many "high ticket" niches.....but selling $7 reports online to the broke, etc.

These two must be very stressful (in addition of being highly risky), especially stocks trading : I equally believe that with this last, one can be affected by age limitation (it is the case in banks due to its physical requests).
