Anyone Using PPC For Offline Lead Gen?

I would like to hear about members results from PPC for their offline business. If anyone is seeing good results for in the web design, sEO, or reputation management service please share your results- I am thinking about starting a campaign. I am not asking for keywords, but rather how much you are spending and the return you are getting.

I guess it would all depend on the industry of the business you're promoting. Most clients that contact me are looking for alternative ways to leads outside of PPC. An attorney will generally have a much higher CPC than let's say a home inspector - but not always. But it only makes sense if you have a realistic budget to invest to see anykind of measurable results.

Thanks for the reply, but I am asking how "us" offliners are doing for primarily SEO and web design campaigns through PPC- sorry if I was vague in my first post.

Okay I gotcha! I read in a blog last week that PPC receives only about 5% of the actual search traffic. To me that seems a low % so i'm not sure if that's correct or not but let's just say that for conversation sake that PPC grabs 10%. So everyone that is targeting the same kw's as you, are all fighting for only 10% of the traffic. This is partly why it's so expensive - because there is only so many clicks to go around.

I'm sure there are many offliners out there that do very well with PPC, but I don't spend a huge amount on this kind of advertising. I try to find coupons whenever possible, you can find them pretty easy. Sorry that I couldn't be any more helpful

Yeah, I am playing around with a $50 bing coupon right now, can't hurt. I recently got a client off of craigslist, so I am assuming PPC is probably better than CL.
