Hey Warriors! So I'm planning on doing a post card mailing and driving the recipients to landing pages for a free report online.

Id like to give them option to enter their physical address also if they want a physical copy of the report sent to them.

I want to keep a database of all the recipients, but Im not going to do any email followups right away, I want the report itself to drive them to contact the local business. I just want to keep a database of all the info for later use.

Would optimize press do this or would I need Optimize Press + something like AWeber, or would I need something else entirely?

  • You can get this done with a simple contact form using "Contact form 7." It's a plugin for wordpress that will gather their information based on the fields you populate. All data will be stored via your email.

    Another alternative would be to use Optimize Press in conjunction with Aweber. It's a bit ore costlier that using the free tool above, but the landing pages will look much nicer.
  • Getting them subscribe right away has an advantage but of course you are paying a monthly fee to aweber or another company to do that.

    When you do start following up what kind of follow up will you do? Personalized or sending to the whole list?

      Aaron, I would most likely be sending messages in mass from this list.

      Also, hmm, now that I think of it... Is there a way to remove those that become customers from the list or a segment of the list?
