Hello, I have a question about managing areas door to door reps visit.

I have a sales team of 15 people working for me and i want to hear experiences about tracking reps work route.

I would like to track which street they visited, which house they knocked on, so that the next time i know what to do with certain area. And do some basic analytics mostly about their activity and efficiency.

How do you track them, if you do that kind of tracking.

One of my clients in the home improvement industry had a system like this built for his company. It's insane, he has a 'control room' with monitors all over the place tracking all his canvassers and salespeople.

The app tells the canvassers the persons name and whether they've been knocked before or not, etc. It tracks how many they're knocking for accountability purposes as well. The salespeople have it which tells him how far they are in the sales process and how long they've been in the home.

Unfortunately he had it all custom built so it's not something you can just go out and buy but I do believe a company was going to release an app that tracked canvassers because I wanted to get it but I totally forgot about it.

That is a hell of a custom system you are describing. Any idea how much it cost him to build?
