How do you create an aura of exclusivity?

I have a rather rough idea how it's done and I kind of do it randomly on the fly, I want to write a script that codifies it.

  • Exclusivity of what?

    A service would be done differently than a product. And even one product might be done differently from another.

    That said I would study the marketing of companies selling the same thing (or at least similar) to you.

    • You give an aura of exclusivity by giving real exclusivity. But it can be so broad as to not be restrictive.

      I give each client an exclusive per city (one city) per business. The ends when they stop paying me.

  • "aura of exclusivity" is when you have local, group or
    mass celebrity status.

    That can be manufactured when you are doing a 1-on-1
    presentation and you use the STRONG method
    as found in Pitch Anything.

    It can be done through being a book author, through
    being endorsed by industry/trade associations.

    It can be done through press coverage, print, radio, TV..

    That's the "aura".

    I suspect you are after something which takes
    a shorter time to implement.
