Why Yelp and Groupon don't dominate

Ever wonder why Yelp isn't actually bigger by now? Payam Zamani from Reply.com points out flaws in Yelp, Groupon and ReachLocal, and says it is time for better solutions for local businesses.

    It's a shame, because Yelp is a pretty decent site. If you Google something like "Red Lobster restaurant review in (put your city here)" Yelp links inevitably come up in 2 or 3 positions. Who knows, maybe some day Yelp will consider the points brought up in that article.

      The more I think about it, Yelp should be the Salesforce.com of local by now, with huge conferences and industry leadership.
