Should i use a brand name or EMD for a local lead gen website?

Hi all, i just would like your opinions on what would be the best option here. If i were to build a site usingbrandname.com and creating local leads for that site is this a good way of doing things?

Does this in effect become a business?

Don't get a site with a brand name in it that you don't own, you are just asking for a C&D.

Hi, i didnt mean a brand name already in use....i meant a name where over time it could become a brand.....such as A1plumbing.com or theplumbshop.com ....
what if i were to sell the leads to different people?

Yes, a brandable domain is def the way to go. EMD's were working well but Google isn't giving the same cred to them anymore.

Yes, it can be done but it is against Google's TOS.

If their goon squad finds you...you will be out of business.

Yes, by the way, I AM in the Witness Protection Program. I could tell you who I am but then I would have to kill you.

Yes a brand name domain definitely will help you bill brand recognition after you have been in business for a while.

An EMD will still work if your site has decent content. I still build them, and they work well. Then you can sell the leads to anyone.
