Proven methods to turn radio spots into cash?

I find myself in an interesting situation.

I do a ton of trade and now have access to 1 minute radio spots between 2 and 6 pm Monday to Friday on our cities most popular latest hits radio station.

They are the hip station attracting a huge and varied demographic. The 2 to 6 pm crowd will likely be the working demographic.

I am really busy so was NOT really looking at reselling these spots to local business and they would likely frown on it as it would interfere with existing contracts/pricing.

Curious about other thoughts. For example I could quickly and easily build out one or more memorable url's and do ads to send them to CPA offers etc..

Any guidance or insights would be greatly appreciated from those with experience in making money from radio ads.

Do you have access to pay per call offers?

I for one (if it weren't for the cost) wanted to promote an offer from a pay per call offer over radio in which, they call the number as advertised on the spot for a drug and alcohol rehab information. offer converted at 2 minutes for $110 so I was very interested.

if you had the ability to do something like above I would go for it.

Obviously I need more coffee as the pay per call thing never occurred to me, I belong to several CPA networks. Would love to hear from some that have actually tried some offers. Maybe you were just breaking even or a bit profitable but my ads being almost free or needing to be used put me in a different position.

population is 1 million. I pretty much need to create an offer that they would not likely be able to land in the cash world. I did trade for these spots but they already heavily pursue bars, restaurants etc.. so I want to stay away from their existing/potential clients.

Dude, I know what I'd use the spots for. Free Google PPC critique consultations with a blurb that prove most small businesses are burning as much as 25% of their Adwords budgets and your consult will help them solve this issue so that their ad costs decrease while the ad campaign improves.

Its coming up to the new year which means one thing, diets!

Grab a decent diet PLR pack and rework all the images bringing them up to 2014 standards.
Create a killer mini site on a good domain name.

write or get made a script of 2 two friends talking about dieting and one mentions your website, bla bla bla. Good strong call to action to visit your site at the end.

Grab good voice over people at Fiver and get it recorded.

1 minute slots are kinda long, try to break them down to 30 second slots.

Just like CPA really, but you may as well create and sell your own product and stay in control.

Some interesting ideas so far. Thanks Rus and Susie.

Rus, I can already easily reach local business owners so I don't want to use my radio spots especially given the fact that it would be an incredibly small percentage of listeners that would be running PPC campaigns. I want something with broad appeal. Something like get a make up kit for $1 etc.. and send them to a CPA offer that is selling a make up subscription and sending out the first bit for a dollar trial.

Hoping someone can chime in with something they have tested or witnessed the results of.
I will of course be doing the obvious and contacting my current cpa network managers for their thoughts.
