Can QR code be used to leave reviews?

I created and ranked a video for a local florist... thanks to what I learned here! She has also asked that I design some business cards with a QR code that customers can scan and submit reviews.

I know that's possible because I've seen it a million times here on the forums. It's amazing how when put on the spot, all my "learnings" went straight out the window.

I know how to create the QR codes and direct them to do just about anything -- but where is the easiest or best place to leave reviews? Direct them straight to the client's site? Or to a landing page and then have someone manually enter the reviews / citations?

While I'm doing my own research, any suggestions, resources, WSO recommendations or pointers that you guys could add here would be a blessing!!

Around where I am, lots of people used to use qr codes but don't anymore as they think qr codes don't work. (The ones I talked to did not use them properly.)

But, yes, you can. Keep in mind that not everyone knows how to use (have 'scan code to go to..."). Keep in mind that you have to give them a reason to do it. Keep in mind that whatever page opens should be fit for their device (i.e., not for a desk top computer screen).

As to her specific reasons: it's hard to get people to give a review, people are not used to using business card this way, there's only so much space on a card. Maybe she should have offers, testimonials, a link/qr code that takes the user to something that's got something the user's salivating for.

I prefer to use a dynamic code that I can change to the location my client needs a review from the most. You can get a plug-in that makes this easy from within a wordpress site or just google dynamic qr code.
