Personalizing Voice Broadcast / Voicemail Drops

I've spent a lot of time tinkering with voice broadcasting and in an effort to figure out ways to get more leads for B2B, I came across something that if applied can be useful to you folks.

The best way to describe this as a story. I'll will explain what appears in RED in greater detail.

Your name is John Store Owner and you're sitting in the back office of your store. You recently ran a daily deal promotion and your phone rings, you answer, you hear:

Hi John, this is Cindy with Awesome Company. I see that on December 1 you ran a daily deal on GROUPON and you sold over 500 deals. That's fantastic! But after they come in and use the coupon, do you have a way to get them to come back? Only the deal site does and that's just not right. But you can change all that by pressing 1 now. Press 1 to see what this is all about.

Let me be clear on one thing; the above is an ILLUSTRATION, and not a use case. Meaning, I will not be voice broadcasting daily deal merchants. However, if the walls came caving down, and all I had was SMS to sell, this is exactly how I'd sell it fast.

THERE'S EVEN A SITE that will give you ALL SORTS of Yummy daily deal data... The day a deal ran, how much it sold, what the daily deal site profited from it, etc. etc.

So if my back was ever against the wall, I'd download a CSV from this site, set up my personalization campaign, and close a few SMS clients per broadcast. *hint* *hint*

Anyway, back to the point. If you know something about the person you are voice broadcasting to already, something that they might be "impressed" that you know about them, you'll earn more money by personalizing your broadcasts to highlight this dynamic. I have tested this and am extremely encouraged by the results, but can't share them for "political" reasons. You can test this for like $25. I don't think you will regret it. In fact, I promise you, you will not.
