Hi there,

I am in negotiation with a local business-owner who recently
acquired a ecommerce business with thousands of products.

Needs a Website.

How would YOU best approach this in terms of advertising
with that quantity of products?

What services would you offer and at what prices?

Thanks!

Looking forward to seeing the EXPERT Local SEO guys
weigh-in here!

Hi Kristie I am sure you will receive a bunch of replies on things to offer and what to charge but to actually land this client all of those answers are hidden within the interview process. Without knowing his budget and goals for the site the quote could be so far off base it would be silly.

You need to either share his expectations so we can help further or find out for yourself if you prefer to keep that confidential and decide from there.

When someone is all over the map then I just look at the big picture and just quote a fee that will make me happy to take the job. If he wants someone to fully manage it for him and believe it will make 100k/month in sales then what is fair in your mind to take care of everything including site maintenance, seo, social media etc..? 5%? 10%? A monthly base + incentive of sales?

So he acquired an e-commerce business but still needs a website? I am confused. Are you trying to get a gig for SEO for his e-commerce site? Or are you going to build him a new e-commerce site? Is it a retail/wholesale or retail only?
    I am confused.
