One-call close with two or more prospects

Simon Harris is a Sydney-based sales and business coach. He has a tactic to"break the pact" two or more prospects usually set between themselves before meeting with him.

The "pact" is that no matter what, they will tell him they need to think about it before making a decision.

This is how he handles it.

What is your experience with one-call closes with two or more prospects?

When I was selling in the home, there was nearly always that agreement that they weren't going to buy anything.

It is completely forgotten, when they find that they really want what you have.

Closing 2 people is slightly easier than one, because they will talk more than a single person. But, if they really want what you have, anything agreed to...before you started..just goes out the window.

Sometimes, at the end, one would tell me "You know, Claude...we promised each other that we weren't going to buy anything today"

And I say "I know. All my customers say that. But they say that before they take a good look at my product. Aren't you glad now, that you found out what this could do for you?".

What if they're not stars? What if they are holes poked in the top of a container so we can breath?
