Interview With An Offline Marketer That's Hitting It Big

Guys; I get e-mails from Michael Senoff. He interviews people who are successful in business. He sent me an e-mail with this interview in it. I think you'll get something out of it.

Here's part of the e-mail sent to me;

These words are the same words that helped this Marketing Consultant go from $70,000 in debt to making more than $300,000 in 18 months?

You'll Also Hear . . .

* 5 quick-start steps for landing 20 appointments a week using nothing but cold calls - finding a list, getting in the right mindset, knowing the real purpose of your call, determining how many prospects to contact a day, and a word-for-word look at the phone script Sam uses

* The incredibly effective (and maybe even sneaky) way Sam gets gatekeepers to send him through to the decision maker almost every time

* The one thing you should never say when you're on the phone with a prospect

* A step-by-step look at how Sam seals his deals - and the one best trick he learned from negotiating expert Jim Camp that he says helps him do it

* How to posture yourself in the initial meeting with a prospect - and all about Sam's "why me, why now" approach that he says is the one thing you should always do before the opportunity analysis

* The biggest future goal Sam has for his consulting practice that will make him even more money (with much less time and effort) down the road

There's no doubt - marketing can have a life-changing effect on a business, especially in today's economy.

That's why Sam says he never tries to sell prospects on his consulting; he just sells them on their transformation.

So whether you're a new consultant or a seasoned vet, this audio is full of innovative tips and tricks that will help you transform every business - including your own.

God, I hope this isn't an affiliate link.

Sam's HMA Story

I read the interview and though it had some worthy ideas. You can either listen to it or read the text.

Mods; I'm not an affiliate or reseller of anything. The link is not an affiliate link. I think this interview has merit. If I did something against the rules (I don't think so), just delete this post, and don't ban me. Pretty please?

    Greagt share Claude!

I get emails from Michael as well.
It was his HMA system that helped me transition from service provider to consultant.

He has a ton of valuable info on his site HardToFindSeminars.com

I love Senoff. In the role play, he had me laughing when he says "OK, OK, alright Sam, alright," as Sam just hung in there calmly.

Marketing is not a battle of products. It is a battle of perceptions.

Claude, what is your take on selling each "step" of the HMA system ($X,XXX for creating USP, etc) in comparison to your packages?

I don't know. I'm not a student of his, and I haven't bought his training.

My wild guess is that his way is a tad easier to sell, and mine is more profitable. But that's based on almost no information.

There are people here that have taken his training, and would know more.

I took his system and adopted it into my own.
His system markets everything as steps.
I prefer to have a monthly retainer, and then each step is performed a month.
Same kind of principle, except mine gets the client used to paying me monthly.
I know have an advanced 4 part system where as his is 8 steps.

I read the transcript to this interview just last night...

There's one real gem in there derived from Ari Galper's material about how to verbally qualify prospects that I suspect would make ANY sales trainer proud. Well worth checking out, especially since this and many of Michael's interviews are free. His site is a veritable goldmine of business and marketing info that is there for the taking.

That's good thinking. It you can make is less steps, why not

Thanks Claude, another great resource. I've only listened to about half of it so far, but will definitely finish it soon. Love anybody that talks about the Ari Galper stuff as it's the only thing that has worked for me. Could just be it suits my personality though.

Thanks, Claude. I'm really glad you posted this.

I've heard of him before, his HardToFindSeminars.com and his HMA Marketing Consultant Training System.

I had saved the links to the websites in my other computer. But when my other computer crashed, I could not remember his name or his website addresses so that I can look them up and save the links into my new computer.

    So thanks for posting this.

So he's using Ari Galper's stuff.

Sharing other perspectives is good. However, I get the idea that people value content and techniques that come from outside this forum more than things they find here. If you're not lazy and not chasing after the next shiny object, you'll discover that there is an overwhelming amount of legitimate expertise available from the contributors right here. And you don't have to do a lot of digging to find out who really knows their stuff.

      Claude,

That is a great share, newbies should RUN...not walk to read the pdf or audio. The best lesson in that entire platform for anyone... FORGET SHINY OBJECTS!

One Word... Consistency, Consistency, Consistency. That guy has created a great business foundation in just 18 short months, with goals and aspirations to grow it bigger.

Hopefully newbies are taking some time to review this material...

Personally, I have become a HUGE FAN of OREN KLAFF! You won't find much here on WF about him. With that being said...Great thread and great share for everyone...

      Thanks Claude

I've listened to hundreds of hours of his interviews. He's got a treasure chest full of them on his site. I am on his list and he runs specials for $20 where he'll bundle up 15-20 interviews. I always buy as they are in one spot and usually some great ones.

Some of his interviews are dated, 03-04 and you can tell, but still can find some nugget in them. His HMA course is based on Jay Abraham's consulting selling from the early 90s and some of it is excellent, still applies today.

Not sure if the fax blasts wold still work though

Thanks for posting that link! I spent ALOT of time at Michael's site a few years ago. Some golden nuggets in many of those interviews. Listening to them opens up mind to so many possibilities for making money and becoming successful. Michael is a big Jay Abraham disciple, so if you like Jay's stuff, you'll love listening to Michael's interviews.
