Best Way to market a book

OFFLINE MARKETING

Hi Warriors,

I have a client that just wrote a book and wants to make it a digital download.

I was thinking of creating a 1-2 page website, do some facebook ads, and some seo.

Or should I turn it into a kindle and sell it that way?

Put it on Kindle.

Research free places to post and do a giveaway...some of them need a week's notice, some want a day's notice, so separate the two lists.

Niche down your category and market it heavily on these free sites and in your social media. A handful isn't going to do it, but 30 is going to get you a good result. Yes, this is going to take a couple hours of research and another couple hours of signing up for the listing sites, but you get a good ranking.

  Has your friend thought about putting it in Clickbank? What's the niche of the book as where I'd recommend putting it depends on the theme.

I'd put it on Kindle for sure.

Depending on his expertise and target market, you may want to create some high quality image ads (not Fiverr, but pro ads) and see about buying ad space on relevant sites.

If they're local, you could get some printed copies to sell in local shops. I know here in Canada, Indigo bookstores feature local writers all the time.

Local Chamber of Commerce give away?

Books can't be so expensive to print that giving them away would be hard.
