How does your funnel/process for selling/marketing look like?

2 replies
Would be cool to see the process or funnel of how you sell/market your services/products.

Mine looks like this:

1. Email target prospects
2. If I get a reply I send more information before taking a meeting
3. Meeting / pitch
4. Q&A and back and forth some ...
5. Close on the same meeting or on the phone

How does your process look like?

    People read one of my books.
    They call me and bother me.
    They buy my stuff.

    Sometimes they e-mail me and bother me. But they usually assume we are friends, because they have seen me in a video, or read something I've written.

    Although I speak less often now, my funnel when speaking is;
    I'm promoted as an expert.
    I speak to a group.
    At the end of the speech, they buy.

    In the rare event I cold walk...
    I walk in..
    Talk to them.
    They buy.

    With referrals;
    The client talks to the referral. They get the referral to agree to see me (most are 90% sold)
    I call the referral.
    I meet them.
    They buy.

    For my consultancy it's generally been:

    1. Have great clients and do great work for them.
    2. They refer me.

    Lately I've been looking to add more clients so I am using 9x12 to meet and try out new business owners.

    1. Email invitation to co-op
    2. Cold call, remind them I sent an invitation
    3. Sign some up, ask for referrals.
    4. They work with me on 9x12 and I get to know them
    5. Some ask what other services I offer, if I like them I start my consulting "sales" process, if I don't, I say "no other services at this time."

    Working relationship and personality is really important to me, so this is what works best for me. Personal interaction and learning who the business owner is and what they're about is so helpful.
