How Direct Mail Gave me 70$ an Hour
howdy,
I have a story to tell, in my day life I am a fitness professional. I am a pretty awesome personal trainer, unfortunately for me one of the gyms i work with (a mma gym) closed until they can find a better location.
that's great for them...
bad for me!
granted I am not super scraped for cash, however I had an income hole that needed to be fill.
doing what I do best, I crafted a quick package ( short letter, resume, testimonials typical stuff) and mailed it off to 5 prospects. ( one key to successful direct marketing is to know who to market too)
5 stamps, 3 phone calls, and 2 meet ups later, I now have a new gig where I get paid 70 dollars an hour.
of course know some of you are saying " this dude is just bragging...
hold on I have a method. To my madness.
I wanted to illustrate that one doesn't have to chase prospects to be successful in ones business.
does your doctor call you asking you if you had your yearly checkup, or do you call them when it's time to go to the doctor when its time to go?
prospects are more likely to be interested in what you have to sell if they feel like they took the steps to reach you.
If they contact you...
the sale is half done.
