Hi well I want to buy a domain name but the .com and co.uk are taken so what's the next best name to pick

    well let me explain as I am from the uk I original thought the .com was the best domain to buy but seeing since that was not available I then thought of co.uk but that was not available either so what the next best option they are:
    .org
    .uk
    .co
    .info
    .com
    .me
    .biz
    .net
    which is the best one after co.uk and .com to buy?

      Choose another domain? I only use a .com or .co.uk try diff variations of the domain mate.

        gTLD extensions. They might be something you want to consider. I think these things can liberate a lot of people with this problem.

          Keep searching for another .com name until you find one that is available. I know it is really hard but every time I have done that I have always eventually found a suitable .com domain and was glad I didn't settle for a non .com name.

    If you want be recognised as a UK based company have you thought about a .london or .uk domain name?

    These are part of the new gTLD extension (generic top level domians) scheme.

    It's all depends on what kind of websites you would like to link your domain name, but for me the next to .com is .net or .org.
